The successful sapiens, Jeff Bezos is the founder, CEO, and Chairman of the world’s largest online shopping retailer. Besides, this 52-year-old self-made billionaire is the 4th richest man on earth.
As Michelle Obama defines “success isn’t how much money you make, it is about the difference you make in people’s life”. In fact, Amazon founder made a difference in millions of people’s life. Moreover, successful people’s life defines success as well.
Jeff was successful in each phase of his life both in academic and career life. After founding Amazon.com, some people labeled him as an austere boss who even wanted to know the minutiae of everyday life of the employees. The humorous CEO is frugal too. Once in an interview, Henry Blodget was mocking Bezos for not paying lunch money to the employees while some other companies were eventually giving body massage, sushi chef and alike. According to Jeff Bezos frugality is the core of Amazon. He defined that “I think frugality drives innovation just like other constraints do. One of the only ways to get out of a tight box is to invent your way out”.
